Daisy, who is of Guatemalan and Honduran decent, was born and raised in Hollywood, CA, where she also studied massage therapy. She later moved to the South Bay area of Los Angeles where she has been a licensed massage therapist for almost a decade. Growing up, Daisy always knew she wanted to work in a rewarding field that she could enjoy, while helping others at the same time. Deciding to become a bodyworker was only natural. Her intuitive nature allows her to be receptive and ease each individual’s unique concerns.
Daisy’s modalities include: pregnancy, deep tissue, swedish, sports, aromatherapy, and has most recently trained with the Arvigo Institute to become an Arvigo Mayan Abdominal Practitioner.
Becoming a mother gave Daisy a whole new perspective on life, women’s strengths and children, while developing a whole new understanding and respect for all women. When Daisy was pregnant she realized that there wasn’t enough massage establishments out there that focused on mommy-to-be needs. Some places she found didn’t have the correct pregnancy pillows or cushions, and realized that not all therapists were qualified to perform pregnancy massage at her convenience.
This gave Daisy an idea. To start a business dedicated to all mommies and women. She understands everything that comes with becoming a mother. Having gone through pregnancy, Daisy was amazed at the capabilities that a woman’s body possesses. She also experienced the discomfort and changes, and is aware of the support and care women need through this transition. She intends to bring comfort to all women at any stage of their life.
Daisy also supports Midwifery and Doulas, and loves to share her own home water birth story. She is passionate about a holistic way of life, and gladly shares her knowledge with anyone that is interested. She enjoys music, photography, and a good laugh. She happily resides in Hermosa Beach, CA with her husband Chris, their son Oliver, and their Chihuahua Elvis.
